The International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies 2012 annual conference promises to be one of the best yet! The meeting theme this year is “Beyond Boundaries: Innovations to Expand Service and Tailor Traumatic Stress Treatments”. Given that theme, it is not surprising much of the content is relevant to those interested in dissemination and implementation work.
Join us to experience cutting edge talks relevant to researchers, policy makers, and clinicians who are at the forefront in the area of dissemination and implementation. Keynote speakers include Dr. Vikram Patel, Dr. Joop de Jong, and Dr. Rochelle Hanson. They will be speaking about issues regarding adapting, transporting, and implementing efficacious treatments. The conference will also feature several methodological talks, as well as many exciting panels, symposia, and workshops! The ISTSS Annual Meeting is a unique opportunity to learn the latest in traumatic stress research, hear about clinical insights and innovations, earn continuing education credits, and network with colleagues.
The 2012 meeting in Los Angeles will be the year’s largest gathering of professionals dedicated to trauma treatment, education, research and prevention.
