Postdoctoral Fellowship Position in Implementation Science Research

Jumpstart your professional career in Implementation Science research working with behavioral intervention researchers at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and remotely with Seton Hall University Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. This 2-year post-doctoral fellowship focuses on implementation science research.  The post-doctoral fellow will work on a NIH-funded national implementation study in The Bahamas; the goal is to develop theory-driven implementation strategies to increase sustained teacher implementation fidelity of youth evidence-based intervention, and thereby increase the public health impact of evidence-based interventions in schools.  The fellow will also have opportunities to work on mhealth intervention and suicide prevention projects.  This research scholar position provides full funding without any teaching requirements.  The fellow will help the multi-disciplinary team with grant submissions and manuscript writing.  The fellow will be actively mentored to develop their own independent research and have the opportunity for publications and presentations.  Note that 100% of past fellows have accepted faculty positions upon graduation.  The fellow will primarily work with Bo Wang, PhD (Senior Biostatistician and HIV prevention and implementation science researcher) https://profiles.umassmed.edu/display/16694565, remotely work with Bonita Stanton, MD (internationally recognized HIV prevention researcher and founding Dean of the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine) https://www.hackensackumc.org/donate/be-the-answer/dr-bonita-stanton/, and work with Edwin Boudreaux, PhD (Vice Chair of Research) https://profiles.umassmed.edu/display/130048.
