Assistant Professor, Clinical Educator Track, Implementation Science

The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of clinical psychology with a focus on cognitive behavioral interventions and implementation science. Responsibilities include developing an independent research agenda in implementation science and mental health services research. In particular, research should be designed to measure and change individual clinician behavior. The person in this position also will support others’ research in implementation science in mental health. This individual will also oversee continued development of anxiety services through PATCH at Hall Mercer, supervise trainees, and provide clinical services. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care. Clinical psychology licensure or license eligibility in the state of Pennsylvania is required.

Successful candidates will have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research, a strong interest in developing an academic career with a focus on mental health services research and implementation science and a track record demonstrating exceptional promise as a researcher. The ideal candidate will have experience providing training and consultation/supervision in evidence-based practice for youth and delivering care within a community mental health setting.
