The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Colorado Boulder
invites applications for a tenure-track position in Clinical Psychology at the rank of
Assistant Professor. Research area is open but preference will be given to applicants whose theoretically grounded program of research investigates the efficacy or effectiveness of prevention or treatment interventions, including tests of their dissemination or implementation in clinically representative settings (e.g., community settings, hospitals, schools) and/or whose work seeks to advance knowledge of mechanisms. Applicants whose research focuses on youth, family, or adults will be considered, and an applicant’s qualifications are more important than the specific area of expertise. The applicant should be licensed or license eligible. The mission of the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Colorado Boulder is to strive for excellence in our research, in our training of graduate students, and in our teaching of undergraduates, and the selected applicant will have a record of independent research and be expected to develop and maintain a strong extramurally-funded research program, as well as contribute to the department’s undergraduate and graduate training mission, including an interest in practicum supervision. The selected applicant will join a strong Clinical Psychology program and will be encouraged to develop interdisciplinary collaborations with departmental colleagues in the behavioral neuroscience, behavioral genetics, social, cognitive, or developmental subspecialties.

site clinic, clinical research space, a new 2500 sq. foot neuroimaging facility, and opportunities to collaborate with colleagues in the Anschutz Medical Campus and other programs and research institutes (e.g., Institute of Behavioral Science, Institute of Cognitive Science, Institute for Behavioral Genetics).
