Program description
SIRC offers a mentorship program for those interested in receiving and/or providing mentorship in Dissemination & Implementation (D&I) Science.
- Mentees will receive one-on-one guidance and support.
- Mentors will provide expertise while gaining recognition, influence, and shaping the future of D&I Science.
Mentorship goals can include:
- General mentorship (e.g., long-term career planning, prioritizing projects)
- Research collaboration opportunities
- Learning more about D&I
- Grant writing
- School/job applications
- Workshopping an idea
- Project execution
Mentorship models
- Meeting type and frequency are determined by the mentor and mentee.
- We encourage mentors and mentees to attend SIRC for the opportunity of an in-person meet-up!
Eligibility requirements
The SIRC Mentorship program is available to all active SIRC members.
